LIVE AT THE ROXY  This white label L.P comes with a paper wrap round cover, and features 12 songs recorded live.In recent years it has come to light that the recording is not from the Roxy club, the most likely venue being the Rock garden in London February 1st 1978.The quality is surprisingly good for a recording probably taped on a small cassette recorder. Beggars Banquet took the unusual step to include this recording as extra tracks on the 20th anniversary re-master of the Tubeway army CD album. The songs included are, Motherless faces, Boys, Blue eyes, You don’t know me, My shadow in vain, Me my head, That’s too bad, Basic J, Do your best, Oh didn’t I say,I'm a poser & Pure St joy.

The sound quality is superb, and has to be the best example of a Gary Numan bootleg.

It features the following songs. Remind me to smile, Metal, This prison moon, Down in the park, This is my house, The iceman comes, Films, and Cars.

IPSWICH 85

Recorded live on the Fury tour at the Gaumont, this L.P features the following songs, No shelter, Tricks, Me I disconnect from you, Creatures, Metal, Berserker, Are friends electric, Miracles, Down in the park, Cold warning, The first 400 copies came with an extra L.P featuring, I die you die, Sister surprise, This disease and We take mystery. The Overall sound quality is very good.

THE SACRIFICE TOUR 1994

The only pressed bootleg CD to surface, It was recorded live at Birmingham Town Hall in 1994.The songs included on this CD are, Pray, A question of faith, I dream of wires, Noise noise, Listen to the sirens, Everyday I die, Desire, Friends, Scar, Magic, M.E, Replicas, Stormtrooper in drag, Deadliner, Bleed, Love & napalm, I’m an agent.

IN CONVERSATION

This 60 minute interview L.P is limited to just 1000 copies, and features an interview with Gary around 1994. Topics included in the interview are, Flying, Re-mixing songs, Numa records and bootlegging.

TELL TALES

Another interview, this time on a 12” single and part of the Tell Tales range of various artists interview discs. This 12” was widely available in high street record stores. The interview is from around 1982 Topics include, The early years,Number 1 records, & David Bowie.

PEEL SESSIONS VOL 1

This 7” single comes in a fold out poster sleeve and features I nearly married a human (part 2), Down in the park, & Me I disconnect from you, all recorded as part of the John Peel sessions for radio 1 in 1979 The quality of the recording is superb.

PEEL SESSIONS VOL 2

Again this 7” has a fold out poster sleeve, and features the tracks, Films, Airlane, & Conversation, also recorded for the John Peel show. As with Vol 1 the sound quality is superb.

WHITE LIGHT WHITE HEAT

This 7” single features the song White light White heat, recorded live at the Roxy club in 1977/1978, Gary sings lead vocals and guitar. The B side features the song Bunch of Stiffs by Meanstreet,Gary is supposed to be on guitar and backing vocals, but his distinctive voice cannot be heard, questioning weather or not he is actually on the record.

AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL 

Sometimes referred to as the Bono interview, this disc contains a speech by Bono from the band U.2, and in fact contains no recording of Gary at all. There seems to be many different Numan pictures, often taken from music magazines on the front of these discs, and the picture on the back is again non Numan. Never the less they make great picture discs.

MY DYING MACHINE 

This bootleg 7” picture disc pretends to be an Italian promo, It contains 2 versions of the song My dying machine and is limited to just 500 copies. The sound quality is as good as an official release, and the picture on the A side is quite stunning.

RUSSIAN FLEXI DISCS 

These 6” square flexi discs come from russia, Many many titles have now been released, including, Zero bars, My love is a liquid, Crash, Films, Are you real, Dead heaven, Dark, Sister surprise. Each release is available in a variety of colours including, Red, yellow, green, brown & clear. The quality of the sound is as good as a regular flexi disc, and they all come with a black & white paper insert.

Available on Yellow & Clear vinyl this single is in fact a bootleg of a bootleg, It contains highlights from the In Conversation picture disc L.P, It was available to buy separately or as part of a boxed set containing the picture disc version (below) and two colour photographs.

LIVE MANCHESTER 2002 

 This bootleg L.P is limited to just 100 copies & 10 test pressings, it features on side 1, 5 tracks recorded live at the Manchester Academy on the 5th April 2002 (M.E, Metal, Down in the park, Rip, Voix, side 2 features, Exposure, M.E, Everyday i die, & This wreckage, the B sides taken from the 2002 CD single Rip.

The L.P also features another track that at the time was thought to be a new unreleased Gary Numan instrumental, however it later came to light that this was not the case, and in fact the track was written by the band 'Core'
